Mike Keith Insurance is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support our commercial Property and Casualty business. The ideal candidate should be a professional and goal-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal, time-management, and communication skills. Two years of previous office experience is required, as well as an existing P&C license for the state of Missouri or a willingness to obtain one within 90 days of the hire date. This role will work closely with account managers to manage client expectations and account servicing needs. This is a service role and has no sales requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assist account manager with servicing designated book of business as relating to marketing, claims and administration.
- Responds to client inquiries, documents communications, issues and resolution
- Ensure essential tasks are completed for the client at appropriate times in the service cycle.
- Maintain excellent carrier relationships to provide client advocacy at appropriate times.
- Resolve client issues with a sense of urgency to avoid disruptions in client service and/or coverage.
- Inform account manager/producer of situations that could impact account retention and/or client satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Intermediate to advanced skills in navigating Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Minimum 2 years of business/office experience preferred.
- Team player who takes initiative and is self-motivated to continuous learning and development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve challenges effectively.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact well with diverse personalities.
- Able to operate independently with minimal supervisor intervention.
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with a detail-focused approach.
- Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed.
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
