Job Description:
As a Retail Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and maximizing revenue within our retail partner network. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key retail accounts, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of promotional activities. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, account management skills, and strategic thinking to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with retail partners to drive sales and increase market share.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales plans, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct regular meetings with retail partners to review performance metrics, discuss opportunities, and address any issues.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize product assortment.
  • Provide product training and support to retail staff to enhance product knowledge and improve sales performance.
  • Negotiate agreements, contracts, and pricing terms with retail partners to maximize profitability and achieve mutual objectives.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock availability and minimize stockouts.
  • Stay informed about competitor activities, industry trends, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management to track sales performance and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in retail sales, account management, or business development.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with retail partners at various levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with retail partners and attend industry events.
  • Previous sales experience is a plus.
