A Level 2 – operator will possess the certifications and experience of a Level 1 Operator and MUST complete ONE of the following training programs: (Cutter, Folder, Stitcher, or Inserter)Print-Press Operator Job Summary: MUST have a strong command of product specifications, item codes, machine parameters, and print services workflow.Shift: 1st, 9A-5P (schedule is subject to change) Pay: From $20.00/hr. depending on experience.
**Resume required to show experience in the printing field or related area Print-Press Operator Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate and assist with a variety of bindery/finishing/mailing/fulfillment equipment.
  • Assist with minor maintenance and repairs of equipment. Maintain frequent upkeep of machinery.
  • Intermediate computer skills and understanding of Production/Scheduling systems are imperative.
  • Responsible for quality control of vendor-supplied materials, in-house produced materials and integrity of completed products.
  • Track and communicate statistics that apply to daily production and maintenance issues.
  • Package orders/materials appropriately per customer (internal & external) requirements.
  • Assist with material replenishment by use of pallet jack or forklift.
Print-Press Operator Job Qualifications:
  • One year of technical training in the machine operating field.
  • Completion of ODB Print Services Operator Level 1 training, along with the completion of training on ONE major piece of equipment.
  • Ability to complete HILO training and obtain a forklift license.
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude/dexterity as well as HIGH attention to detail.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a high volume, fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Frequent bending, pulling, lifting, and twisting, and repetitive motions.
