We are looking to bring on an entry-level machine operators to our client’s team in Tacoma, WA. In this position, you will gain exposure to a machine that cuts and stacks composite material. Initially, your duties may be more focused on quality control, but as you gain more experience and confidence you will progress to more advanced duties. This is a temp-to-hire position with room for growth.

 

Compensation: $22/hr to start, increases upon conversion dependent upon performance

Schedule: TBD (looking at a couple options: 3,2,2 or 4,3 per 14-day period), weekends for sure Night Shift, 12-hours, 6:45 pm – 7:00 am

Location: Tacoma, WA

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a slicer to cut pieces of material to specifications

  • Monitor web catcher to ensure that product is fitting standard

  • Do quality control of the product as it is stacked by the machine

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Be able to pass a drug screen (including THC) and a background check

  • Be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly

  • Be able to report to work on time consistently

  • 1 year of machine operating or production experience preferred
