Job DescriptionJob Description

The Clinical Research Recruiter is responsible for leading and facilitating patient recruitment efforts for the site to meet monthly enrollment targets.

Specific Responsibilities Include but are Not Limited To:

  • Identifies appropriate study patients based on protocol-specific criteria.
  • Serves as a liaison between clinical trial patients, family members, and VIN to ensure continuity of care
  • Facilitates study candidates' transition from outpatient treatment to study participation.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with referral sources such as area case management agencies, hospitals, physicians, and other clinical organizations; identifies expansion opportunities; organizes and coordinates community outreach programs.
  • Completes pre-screening informed consent where applicable and collects demographic and clinical information.
  • Serves as the coordinator of the pre-screen database for the site, entering data, updating subject records, and providing leadership at the site for its proper usage.
  • Answer questions and recommend corrective services to address patient complaints.
