We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics, along with exceptional video editing skills. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing engaging content, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to enhance our brand's online presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion rates across various platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

  • Create high-quality, visually appealing video content tailored to each platform's audience and specifications.

  • Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and conversations relevant to our industry, and leverage opportunities for engagement.

  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track key performance metrics, identify trends, and optimize content strategy accordingly.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media initiatives with overall marketing objectives and campaigns.

  • Stay updated on emerging social media trends, features, and best practices, and implement innovative strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Foster community engagement and customer relationships through timely responses, interaction, and customer service on social media platforms.

  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, creative development, and performance tracking.

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social media channels.

  • Monitor industry competitors and benchmark our social media performance against industry standards.

  • Report on metrics and actionable engagement and growth insights

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of social media management experience and content creation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and video content.

  • Track record in growing social media channels and increasing engagement

  • Advanced proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.

  • Experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite Analytics, Google Analytics) to analyze performance metrics and inform strategy.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and techniques.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Health & Wellness, lifestyle and beauty experience a plus

  • Agency and in-house brand experience a plus

  • Success on Instagram is a plus

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time position based at our office in Hollywood. One day minimum per week in the office to collaborate across teams, plus monthly brand summit meetings in the office. Remote work options in accordance with content creation needs and schedule. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to accommodate social media campaign schedules and live events.
