We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Care Administrator to oversee and manage our Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program under the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home care administration, experience with HCBS programs, and demonstrated supervisory skills. This role involves coordinating care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, marketing, recruiting, and leading a team of care professionals to deliver exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:

    • Oversee the daily operations of the HCBS program, ensuring high-quality care delivery to individuals with developmental disabilities.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures in alignment with DDD regulations and industry best practices.
    • Manage the scheduling and coordination of care services, ensuring that clients receive timely and appropriate support.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all home care services comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including DDD standards.
    • Conduct regular audits and quality reviews to assess the effectiveness of care and identify areas for improvement.
    • Address and resolve any compliance issues or client concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Supervision and Leadership:

    • Supervise and support a team of home care staff, including caregivers, and administrative personnel.
    • Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure staff are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth and job satisfaction.
  • Client and Family Relations:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and their families, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with care services.
    • Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administrative Duties:

    • Oversee the management of care records, including documentation of services provided, incident reports, and client feedback.
    • Manage budgeting, billing, and financial oversight for the HCBS program, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

 

  • Experience:

    • Experience in home care administration or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Demonstrated experience with HCBS programs and DDD regulations is essential.
    • Experience in marketing and recruiting.
  • Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centered approach to care.
    • Proficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic health records (knowledge of Vtrack is a plus).

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in home care administration or healthcare management are preferred.
