MICROPIGMENTATION ARTIST

Our MicroArtists have the professional skills of a plastic surgeon, the empathy of a psychotherapist, and the creative skills of a fine artist. No experience in permanent makeup, tattooing, or microblading is necessary as we train.

COMPENSATION: $20-25 per hour base + commissions and bonus to achieve $100K+ per year. wiht room to grow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply MicroArt semi-permanent makeup as an artist/technician on our clients (after training)
  • Conduct patient consultations, in person and on the phone; schedule clients
  • Administrative tasks: charting client notes, phones, emails, scheduling appointments, scanning and sending documents/instructions to patients

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED

  • Experience in some aspects of the esthetic medical and or beauty industry
  • 5+ years of stable, full-time, work history with job references
  • A high degree of reliability, accuracy, and detail in work.
  • Experienced in managing a wide variety of difficult clients and stressful situations
  • Must live within a 45 mins drive to Beverly Hill
  • Working in an environment that requires perfection.
  • Working in an environment where following directions and systems is mandatory.

  • Reliable, responsible, professional demeanor, detail-oriented, perfectionist, organized, fast learner, thrives in a busy and fast-paced work environment.
  • Self-confident. Strong work ethic, and takes pride in fully completing work flawlessly
  • Like working in a structured environment
  • Has a natural eye for beauty, color, design, aesthetics, symmetry, art
  • Good health: able to stand on feet for several hours a day, excellent eyesight, and adroit eye-hand coordination and dexterity skills
  • Able to follow systems like working in a structured environment with checklists, takes directions well
  • Strong active listening skills. Excellent with people, warm, friendly, outgoing, and self-confident. Empathetic must have the ability to have personal conversations with our clients about sensitive issues regarding body image. For example scars from suicide attempts, mastectomy, plastic surgery, vitiligo on genitals, alopecia, and a variety of other disfiguring skin issues that we camouflage.
