A mechanical/plumbing building design firm in the metro Atlanta, GA area is searching for an HVAC designer to work on our staff performing system design, preparing plans and specifications for new and renovated buildings. The firm’s projects include municipal, education, medical/dental office, and religious facilities.

The company offers full benefits including medical insurance, retirement plan, paid vacation, full-time remote work arrangement, and flexible work hours.

Design duties include:

1. Performing heating/cooling load calculations and selecting/sizing HVAC equipment.

2. Sizing ductwork and piping, including hydronic systems and components.

3. Producing BIM models using Revit software.

4. Producing specifications for publication.

Job Requirements include:

1. Familiarization with CAD and modeling software, such as Revit.

2. Organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

3. Engineering bachelor's degree.

4. Outstanding communication skills – verbal and written.

5. Self-motivated and ability to work independently.

6. Most work is remote, from home. However, employee must reside in the state of Georgia.
