      Partners In Hope, a faith-based prisoner reentry organization, seeks a highly motivated individual to serve as Director of Partners In Hope. The Director will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and program management to advance the organization's mission of supporting formerly incarcerated individuals in successfully reintegrating into society. The Director of Partners in Hope will be expected to maintain the duties and responsibilities associated with the current job description and the additional responsibilities outlined below. Position Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the effective operation of the reentry program.

o   Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute the organization's strategic plan.

    • Lead the implementation of programming and services that address the holistic needs of all program participants.
    • Collaborate with the program team to ensure high-quality service delivery, including case management, counseling, educational opportunities, and employment support.

·        Policy and Advocacy: Advocate for policies and practices that promote the successful reintegration of individuals into society.

o   Ensure all PIH staff and volunteers are compliant with policies and practices.

 

  • Team Management: Supervise and support a diverse team of staff members.

o   Oversee day-to-day operations. Ensuring effective communication and support for the Reentry Navigator, Mentor Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, Reentry Career Specialist, and volunteers.

o   Have weekly one-on-one meetings with staff members for development.

o   Lead two staff meetings a month.

 

  • Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain relationships with community partners, government agencies, nonprofits, and employers to enhance program effectiveness and participant outcomes.
    • Represent Partners In Hope at community events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility, advocate for reentry policies, and promote collaboration.
  • Program Development: Design and implement innovative programs and services that address the educational, vocational, housing, healthcare, and mental health needs of program participants.
    • Identify and pursue diversified funding sources, including grants, sponsorships, and program-specific funding, in collaboration with the development team.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the program budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to measure program impact and inform continuous improvement efforts.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with the broader community to raise awareness about reentry issues and promote collaboration and support for program goals.

 

Qualifications:

 

·        Experience in a leadership role within a nonprofit or social service organization.

 

·        Strong understanding of the challenges and complexities associated with prisoner reentry and a genuine passion for the mission of Community Warehouse - Partners In Hope.

 

·        Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.

 

·        Strong leadership and team management abilities, demonstrating a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.

 

 

Working Conditions:

·        This is a full-time position.

·        The Director may be required to work occasional evenings or weekends to attend meetings and events or handle urgent matters.

The position is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with occasional local travel for meetings, events, and community engagements
