Job Summary:

The Sr. Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
  • Preparing journal entries, analysis, and account reconciliations and assisting with month close processes.
  • Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
  • Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting internal audits.
  • Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
  • Cleaning up last transactions, 3rd party and intercompany to ensure the book is ready for external audit.
  • Compiling cash reports and assisting corporate controller with cash forecast.
  • Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP and participate in external audit when needed.
  • Assisting the corporate controller as needed.
Required Skills· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, CPA preferred· 4+ years of accounting experience.· Advanced user of MS office suite, in particular Excel.· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.· Strong numeracy and analytical skills.· Good problem-solving and time management skills.· Highly organized and detail· Team management and delegation skills

Work hours

9am-6pm in office Mon-Thurs, Fri working from home.
