The position will be a full-time CSR but required to learn shipping & receiving to cover for breaks and lunches.

Job Description for Customer Service Representative (CSR):

  • Process and input all customer orders.
  • Run stock/inventory reports to check for product availability.
  • Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders; check all orders for special requests and post inventory records.
  • Coordinate special/last minute shipping requests with the Transportation and Operations departments.
  • Expedite any orders as necessary.
  • Trace orders as required and notify customers of any activity concerning their order.
  • Ensure proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices.
  • Maintain damage records and backorder logs.
  • Handle returned merchandise in an efficient manner and ensure proper credit is given to customers.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, etc., in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Report customer feedback to management, including any signs of customer dissatisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer.
  • Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain the corresponding files.
  • Maintain current and accurate procedure manuals that detail the processing requirements for each account.
  • Answer phone calls and operate various types of office machines and computers necessary to perform duties.
  • Effectively correspond with customers as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferred in logistics.
  • General office knowledge, including telephone techniques and computer skills.

  • $18.50 HR

Hours:

  • 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with overtime as needed.
