Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Equity Research Associate to join our team at Varitec Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the machinery, industrials, and distribution sectors, with a strong track record of producing insightful research and analysis.

**Responsibilities:**

* Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of publicly traded companies within the machinery, industrials, and distribution industries
* Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and valuations
* Write and publish research reports that provide actionable insights to institutional investors
* Track industry trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscapes
* Monitor portfolio performance and provide ongoing coverage of assigned companies
* Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to develop investment strategies
* Present research findings to clients and participate in industry conferences
* Stay abreast of regulatory and market developments that impact the covered sectors

**Qualifications:**

* Master's degree in finance or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in equity research, with a focus on machinery, industrials, or distributors
* Proven ability to conduct rigorous financial analysis and write clear, concise research reports
* Excellent quantitative and modeling skills
* Strong understanding of financial accounting, valuation techniques, and industry dynamics
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements

**Additional Desired Qualifications:**

* CFA or equivalent certification
* Experience in covering companies with complex business models or international operations
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
