Position Overview:

We are a new agency seeking a Director of Operations to join our team. The Director of Operations will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our agency, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements set forth by the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency, including program management, staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance, in accordance with DODD regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all DODD requirements by maintaining accurate records and documentation, submitting required reports, and facilitating regular audits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and accurate communication and reporting.
  • Manage and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive agency growth and success.

Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or Four years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) paid work experience as a supervisor of specialized services.
  • Minimum of One year of full-time paid work experience with supervision of employees, development, oversight, and/or supervision of programs or services and financial management of an organization. (Will need to provide a reference letter, on letterhead from previous employer)
  • One year of full-time (or equivalent part-time) paid work experience in the provision of specialized services (to persons with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly those related to the Department of Developmental Disabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving results.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
