SUMMARY:


The CMM Quality Inspector position is a part of the Quality team. A technician will need to have basic understanding of print reading, GD&T, and metrology tools. They are responsible for running CMM programs, in addition to inspecting parts with manual inspection tools and adhering to all work instructions. Previous experience with CNC Machining in a manufacturing work environment is not required, but very helpful.

    Day Shift – 8AM – 4:30PM


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • The Physical Inspection Technician reports directly to the area Supervisor.
  • Run CMM Machines
  • Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
  • Monitors the process and outputs to ensure part quality.
  • Completes work orders, inspection documentation, and daily preventative maintenance sheets.
  • Promote health and safety of self and co-workers.
  • Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the AS9100 Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Completes all required training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Operating machinery from a standing position
  • Constantly positions self to operate machinery in a variety of configurations.
  • Constantly visually inspect parts
  • Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds
