RemX is seeking a Accounting Clerk for a company in the Cranberry Township, PA area

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Performs bookkeeping and accounting tasks
  • Posts journal or voucher entries, reconciles accounts, and checks for accuracy
  • Verifies, sorts, posts, and checks claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers
  • Performs light clerical duties within an accounting function
  • May type, match payments, check items on purchase orders, prepare bank deposits and perform other routine calculations with specific instructions
  • Must be willing to report to Cranberry office a minimum 3 days a week and be available during month end close
  • Answers customer inquiries
  • Researches problems and/or complaints
  • Creates and edits spreadsheets
  • Performs basic accounting functions requiring knowledge of accounts payable and receivable and of bank reconciliation functions

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience is required
  • Experience in preparing and submitting journal entries and account reconciliations
  • SAP experience and college degree preferred
  • Keyboarding and Ten Key skills by touch or sight
  • Familiar with basic principles of A/P or A/R
  • Must be detail oriented with ability to maintain accurate records with ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Problem solving with a positive and professional demeanor 
  • Must be able to work independence and have excellent time management skills
