Summary:

The Warehouse Clerical Account Manager oversees and manages various administrative and clerical tasks within the warehouse. This role includes handling the bill of lading, payroll processing, receiving, and dispatching activities. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of warehouse logistics while maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Bill of Lading Management:

- Prepare and verify bills of lading for incoming and outgoing shipments.

- Ensure all shipping documentation is complete, accurate, and complies with company and regulatory standards.

- Communicate with carriers and customers to resolve any issues related to shipping documents.

2. Receiving:

- Oversee the receiving process to ensure that all incoming shipments are logged and inspected for accuracy and quality.

- Maintain accurate records of received goods and update inventory management systems.

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve discrepancies or issues with received shipments.

3. Dispatch:

- Manage the dispatch process, including scheduling and coordinating outgoing/incoming shipments.

- Ensure all outgoing/incoming shipments are accurately documented and comply with customer requirements.

- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers to provide status updates and resolve any issues.

5. Administrative Support:

- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and record keeping.

- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required by management.

- Assist in developing and implementing warehouse policies and procedures.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.

- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with clerical and administrative responsibilities.

- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes, including the preparation of bills of lading.

- Proficiency in payroll processing and familiarity with payroll software and regulations.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and warehouse management software.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges.

The Warehouse Clerical Account Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of warehouse logistics, contributing to the overall success and productivity of the warehouse team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00
