Exciting Opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Chicopee, MA

Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:

 

Invoice Management: Code and input invoices into Epicor, processing approximately 25 invoices per day with accuracy and efficiency.

Accounts Payable Support: File invoices for AP and cut checks once per week, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.

Vendor Relations: Act as a point of contact for vendors, providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries promptly.

Front Desk Management: Manage the front desk by filing paperwork, answering phones, and assisting visitors with professionalism and courtesy.

Administrative Support: Assist the accounting team by obtaining documentation and following up with vendors as directed, demonstrating strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Assistant:

 

Office Experience: Previous experience in an office setting is highly preferred, showcasing your ability to thrive in a professional environment.

Accounts Payable Exposure: Any experience with accounts payable processes is a significant advantage, but training will be provided.

Excel Skills: Basic to intermediate Excel skills are required, allowing you to effectively manage data and perform tasks efficiently.
