Position purpose
The Team Lead, Warehouse & Distribution Operations position is responsible for the overall work
flow of the warehouse and distribution processes, procedures and transactions. This includes the
process flow for daily orders, communication of work instructions to the team, providing problem
solving support and resolutions, warehouse data entry and carrier routing support and support all
safety initiatives and processes. Additionally, this role includes the responsibilities of team
leadership and training support to other employees in the function to ensure project deadlines are
met and work processes are completed in a compliant and efficient way. This position will be
required to know and adhere to company's Quality policy and uphold quality standards as well as
conform to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
• Assist manager in daily order flow and relay work instructions to the floor.
• Help associates with problem resolutions pertaining to orders.
• Coordinate with department managers to establish work plans and staffing for each phase of
the project.
• Provide employee training to support warehouse and distribution processes and procedures.
• Demonstrate interpersonal influence and leadership to schedule, manage, and evaluate
internal functional groups.

Job Description: Team Leader, Warehouse/Distribution Process

• Ensure best practices project management methodologies and tools are being utilized to work
on and through assigned projects.
• Quickly identify critical path activities and impacts to timelines; and communicates consistently
with leadership
• Deal directly with internal and external customers and internal teams to effectively resolve
issues using cost effective and efficient methods that ensure a profitable outcome that meets
our customers’ expectations.
• Track and assess all change of scope items and ensure internal/external teams understand
cost, quality and timing impact of these changes
• Effective communication methods; such as email, phone calls, project management tools, etc.
• Understands and properly applies all safety and compliance standards applicable to a
warehouse and distribution function.
• Provide Quality support and assistance while performing above mentioned duties.
• Other duties as needed

• Customer focused work ethic.

• Ability to train others.
• Manage workload daily including prioritizing, organizing and scheduling workflow to meet
required timeframes and standards.
• Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills. Ability to question and probe for understanding.
• Timely decision making.
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution systems and process.
Preferences
• High School Education or equivalent
