This position is crucial for managing the Parts Warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt and distribution of goods, optimizing warehouse workflows, and maintaining precise inventory levels.

As a Parts Logistics Coordinator, you will be instrumental in overseeing the daily operations of the Parts Warehouse. Your role will involve close collaboration with internal teams and third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure seamless operations and drive continuous enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:

  • Lead the setup and operational launch of the Parts Warehouse, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

2. Management of 3PL Partners:

  • Oversee third-party logistics partners to guarantee timely receipt and dispatch of parts, meeting established turnaround times.

3. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Service Parts Planning and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth order processing and logistics flow.

4. Data Reporting and Analysis:

  • Create and maintain reports to monitor daily productivity and departmental expenses.
  • Analyze operational processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.

5. Performance Oversight:

  • Assist the 3PL Operations Manager in monitoring key performance indicators and managing both direct reports and 3PL managers.
  • Supervise outbound shipping and delivery to customer distribution centers.

6. Financial Oversight:

  • Manage transportation and warehouse invoicing to ensure accuracy and compliance.

7. Operational Efficiency:

  • Enhance warehouse operations by focusing on storage and labor efficiency.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Samsung and 3PL partners to address special requests and operational challenges.
  • Drive initiatives for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

8. Inventory Management:

  • Develop and implement plans for inventory storage, transportation, and packaging.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and address discrepancies promptly.

9. Additional Duties:

  • Perform other assigned tasks to enhance the effectiveness of the Parts Logistics operation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles.
  • Ability to interpret and manage product shipment information accurately.
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving routine logistical issues.
  • General knowledge of logistics operations with a focus on specific areas of expertise.
  • Korean bilingual skills are preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
  • Availability for after-hours work as needed.
