We are a leading manufacturer specializing in refrigerated display cases, heated display cases, refrigerated wine cases, serving counters in stainless, and architectural millwork. With a commitment to quality and innovation, we cater to the food service and supermarket manufacturing industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Support Specialist with a focus on technology to join our team. This person will be responsible for learning and supporting the entire product line, showcasing versatility in technical sales support.

Position overview:

We are looking for an aggressive individual with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the food service or supermarket MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical sales support, with the ability to understand and support our product range. limited travel will be required for this position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Refrigeration Expertise: Provide comprehensive technical support and expertise across our entire product line, including refrigerated display cases, refrigerated wine cases, serving counters, and architectural millwork.
  2. Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of all products within our portfolio. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of each product category.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met across the entire product line.
  4. Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for internal teams and external partners to enhance product knowledge and technical skills across all product categories.
  5. Customer Support: Address technical queries and issues related to any product promptly. Provide timely and effective solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
  6. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers' representatives, foodservice consultants, dealers, chain accounts, and end users, emphasizing the full range of products offered.
  7. Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies related to the entire product line. Provide feedback to the product development team to contribute to overall product improvements.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the food service or supermarket MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY (not supermarket or fast food employment).
  2. Proven experience in technical sales support with a focus on technology.
  3. Versatility to understand and support a diverse product line, including refrigerated display cases, refrigerated wine cases, serving counters, and architectural millwork.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Experience working with Manufacturers representatives, foodservice consultants, dealers, chain accounts, and end users is an added advantage.
  7. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
