Job DescriptionJob Description

MidAmerican Building Services is looking for a Janitorial Account Manager in Oshkosh, WI for one account with multiple locations in Oshkosh. The Account Manager will manage building leads, floating cleaners, and cleaning staff. This person must be confident, well-spoken, committed to customer service and able to work with little supervision.

Pay Rate: $50K -$55K+ annually, depending on experience.

  • Direct and oversee the work of the around 20 janitorial employees.
  • Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, functions, and activities of the assigned area.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Recruit, train, and coach unskilled laborers to improve their skills and performance.
  • Provide regular reports to upper management on team performance and progress.

Skills and Abilities

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
  • Must successfully pass a background check in accordance with contractual obligation.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and friendly
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Previous Supervisor experience is a plus.

Education and Experience

  • Experience providing janitorial services preferred.
  • Experience in coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team.
  • Knowledge of human resource policies and practices

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Frequent bending and twisting
  • Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings.
