Job DescriptionJob Description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for providing financial leadership and support to a specific business unit and work closely with business unit leaders to drive financial performance and play a crucial role in stragic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • P&L Management - Lead all aspects of Finance for the business with ownership of P&L
  • Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets for the business unit, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions, providing clear and transparent communication about the company's financial performance.
  • Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, investments, and risk exposures, ensuring the organization has adequate liquidity.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes to support efficient operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachlor's Degree required; Advanced Degree is preferred but not required
  • 10-15 years of experience 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of financial management and strategic planning.
