Business Development Center Agent

Job Location: Indianapolis, IN (on-site)

Position Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $15 - $17 (plus bonuses)

The Business Development Center Agent is responsible for supporting dealership personnel by educating potential customers about Superior Auto services via email, text and phone. The agent will make outreach, pre-qualify and schedule dealership appointments for customers to allow for a quick and seamless purchasing experience at one of Superior Auto’s 70 locations.   • Department hours of operations are Monday – Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm. (Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand)

What you will do:

  • Communicate with customers via phone, email and text to energetically identify the perfect vehicle for your customer.
  • Connect with your customer to create a customized experience that will fully engage them in the process of buying a vehicle.
  • Respond to website/digital leads within designated timeframes by phone or email.
  • Personally introduce your customer to their local dealership
  • Fill your day with outbound phone calls to potential customers that have expressed an interest in Superior Auto, set appointment at their local dealership and establish a follow up cadence that will help drive customers to show up for their appointments
  • Enthusiastically answer inbound sales phone calls with the goal of setting an appointment for the customer at their local dealership.
  • Complete customer phone applications and offer pre-qualification information as needed
  • Be the cheerleader for buying from Superior by highlighting products and services that set us apart such as information on limited warranty, exchange program, etc.
  • Know our inventory to be able to connect customers with a vehicle that will be a perfect fit.
  • Work cooperatively in a teamwork environment both within the BDC team and in collaboration with the network of 70 retail store locations
  • Assist SAC Finance customers as needed and transfer existing customer inquiries related to payments, insurance, etc. to the appropriate department or personnel
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

  • 2 years of BDC and/or call center experience
  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • 2 years Automotive experience (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer literacy to include Data Entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional time management
  • Exceptional attention to detail/organization
  • Bilingual (preferred)
