Glass Systems Inc., a leader in the construction industry specializing in glass and glazing solutions, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Lithonia, GA location. The Project Manager will oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications. This role requires excellent leadership skills and a strong understanding of construction project management, particularly in the glass and glazing industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for glass and glazing construction projects, from inception to completion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house personnel. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all team members.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring that all projects are delivered within the agreed financial framework. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or changes in scope.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project progress, change orders, and budget adjustments. Prepare and submit reports to senior management.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the glass, glazing, or construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards. Experience in glass and glazing is highly desirable.
