Call Center Representative Compensation
- The pay for this position is $16/hr | $16.75/hr for Bilingual
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Call Center Representative Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Shift information: M-F between the hours of 6am - 6pm (8 hour shift). During Peak Seasons some shifts may be extended until 10pm
- During our busy season you will be expected to work a 40 hour week and overtime when requested. During initial training and during our off season your hours may fluctuate between 32 to 40 hours depending on client need.
- Onsite for day 1, then remote
Call Center Representative Responsibilities
- Help our client members through the enrollment process, and when making updates to their health care and/or pension plans.
- Start out on one client, and with time will be cross trained to provide assistance on multiple clients
- Spend your day either on the phone, or providing assistance through webchat conversations and email
- Quickly build rapport and respond to customers via phone, email, and instant message
- Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements
- Skillfully translate health and welfare and pension terms, complex plan information and processes into simple explanations and instructions that customers can understand and act upon.
- Read and understand clients plan documents and online knowledgebase tools while collecting relevant information to determine immediate requests/questions and to anticipate the future needs of the member
- Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines providing appropriate and accurate information
- Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Call Center Representative Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Customer Service experience
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Call Center Representative Preferred Qualifications
- Phone work experience
