Looking for Full-Time Medical Office Manager for busy OB/GYN Practice of 10+ staff members. There are currently three providers (two doctors and 1 NP). Attention to detail and great work ethic are a must. Other qualities must include self-motivated, ability to problem solve, detail oriented, computer savvy. You must have experience in billing out claims, verifying insurance, creating payment plans and Good Faith Estimates, and working down collections.

Bachelor's Degree in business, or healthcare administration required or equivalent experience

Candidate must be able to multitask and perform well under stress. Applicant should have excellent organizational and time-management skills, and a good understanding of basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Google). Our practice uses Athena electronic medical record system --experience with this software is a plus. Training in Athena software will be provided but proficiency will be needed and expected soon.

Job responsibilities may include, but not exclusive to: billing, coding, payroll, managing vacation requests, employee benefit enrollment (insurance/401k plans), employee hiring, coordination of training, discipline and/or termination, insuring compliance with HIPAA & OSHA and other practice policies.

Good written and oral communication skills are critical. Candidate must be able to maintain a professional tone when communicating with patients, staff or other outside parties to represent the practice, address inquiries and resolve conflict. Strong leadership skills will be called upon to help improve efficiency in work flows, motivate staff and contribute to a supportive and positive work environment.
