DENTAL RECEPTIONIST/COORDINATOR
 

Seeking a motivated full-time dental receptionist/coordinator to help in a busy family dentist office. Must be able to handle a large variety of patient attitudes and nationalities/accents. Must be a team player with the ability to work independently and be proactive to ensure the smooth work-flow environment of the office.

Great communication skills (both on the phone and in person) and multi-tasking skills are necessary. Ability to type and read quickly while speaking to patients on the phone or in person will be a big part of the multi-tasking skill. Medium-advanced level computer skills are required to do all parts of the job. A minimum of one/two years of working knowledge in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software is a must. Experience with professional customer service and medical billing/claims is a big plus.  

Preferred candidates are expected to have the willingness and commitment to learn and execute the basic/advanced duties of front desk in a general dentistry setting. The duties include but are not limited to scheduling, patient insurances (both explaining and verification), phone calls, collection of patient portion for all procedures, treatment planning, posting of patient and insurance checks, scanning all documents, taking care of Pre-authorizations, claims and all other front desk duties as needed.

The compensation package includes good benefits and is commensurate with experience. This is in-person employment only. The dress code is business casuals with a professional look (no tights/leggings or jeans).
