This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting and assisting people. You would be responsible for welcoming those who enter our club house building, answering incoming calls, receiving and sorting mail, and performing other administrative duties. Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of experience is required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism, to include dress code
- Good organizational, time management and record keeping skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (printers, postage machines, etc)
- Microsoft office skills required

The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for Lakewood. The Receptionist duties include, but are not limited to, welcoming all those who enter the building continuously throughout the day. The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the information hub center for all residents, families, potential residents, team members, guests, and vendors visiting the community and must be aware of all daily activities to answer questions appropriately.
Job Description:
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests and team members as soon as they arrive.
- Always display a pleasant personality and provide superior customer service.
- Handle emergencies in a timely and effective manner while streamlining office operations.
- Utilize stress management skills while multitasking.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person/office/or location.
- Answer incoming telephone calls; determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to the appropriate personnel and department with courtesy, speed, and accuracy.
- Reserve/book guest rooms, including check-ins/checkouts
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries for Clubhouse area.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
- Ensure that the Executive Director, Administrator, and department directors are notified promptly of any Licensing and Certification representative entering or leaving the facility.
- Refrain from discussion of personal or work-related problems with other staff, residents, their family, and friends.
- Attends to employee and resident requests for mail service (weighing pieces, selling stamps, etc.)
