PowerBuilt is a national leader of custom material handling solutions with an emphasis on lift assist, conveyors and pre-engineered equipment. PowerBuilt is based out of Bellefontaine, Ohio with sales offices in Nashville, Charlotte and Dallas. PowerBuilt’s clients include many of the largest automotive, appliance and heavy truck/bus manufacturers in North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of custom engineered tools based on assembly drawings, schematics, and diagrams provided by the engineering department
  • Testing of custom tools for functionality prior to shipping
  • Installation of custom engineered tools onsite at customer’s location
  • Installation of pre-engineered products at customer’s location
  • Leading installation teams of technicians
  • Acting as point of contact during installations at customer locations
  • Coordinating with the Field Services Manager and Engineering-Purchasing Manager to ensure projects are being assembled/installed on time and under budget
  • Maintain a clean work area/appearance in house and onsite for assemblies/installs
  • Communicating any issues/delays immediately and accurately to appropriate person

Requirements:

  • Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Required)
  • US work authorization (Required)
  • 2-4 year degree in engineering or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Ability to travel 50-60%
