Duties

Our Product Development Coordinator will support and collaborate with the product development, marketing, graphic design, and web teams, performing a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office software. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
  • Partner with Design Team assist in creating industry leading, brand appropriate furniture designs.
  • Assist in maintaining product data and product specification sheets.
  • Track and manage project progress with a keen attention to detail partnering with our teams in the US and Asia.
  • Attend Marketing and Product Development weekly meetings, take detailed notes and perform assigned tasks.
  • Partner with team to review product samples and communicate detailed feedback and instructions to partners in the US and Asia.
  • Perform various general office tasks including organizing and mailing samples, data entry and analysis, generating labels, proofreading, and digital asset management.
  • Manage and maintain material library.
  • Minimal domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • College degree, preferably in a related field or relevant experience.
  • Sophisticated taste level and passion for furniture and design.
  • Prior industry/office work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of CAD and rendering software preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards objectives, and time frames.
  • Basic knowledge of Content Management Systems, Product Information Management systems, and Digital Asset Management software preferred.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite a plus.

The Product Development Coordinator is a full time, in office position in our Trumbull, CT office. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
