Position Overview: As a Screen Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing a variety of screens for residential and commercial clients. Your role will involve working closely with our installation team to ensure precise and efficient installations that meet our high standards of quality. From precise installations to troubleshooting and providing excellent customer service, your contributions will directly impact our company's growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, manufacture, and install screen products according to company quality standards
  • Utilize operating system for scheduling, invoicing, and processing payments
  • Communicate with customers about scope of work and cost estimates
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects on time
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and work vehicle
  • Provide exceptional customer service during estimate appointments, installations, and follow-up visits
  • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in screen installation or a related field is not required, but is always a plus. On-the-job training is provided 
  • Experience with hand tools, drills, chop saw, etc. is highly preferred
  • Ability to drive a truck pulling a trailer
  • Professional appearance
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Physical Demands: 

  • Regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers, talk, and hear.
  • Occasionally required to sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb ladders.
  • Able to sit/stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and move it unaided 50 feet.
  • Able to work outside in both hot and cold climates

Since we are a small company, we do not offer health benefits at this time. However, knowing health insurance is essential, we do provide a monthly allowance to aid in covering the cost of a personal policy.
