Residential Group Home Supervisor

We are currently seeking a full-time ID/DD residential group home Residential Manager, who possesses strong supervision skills, a caring and positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively. Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with at least one year of successful work experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities developmental disabilities, social work, human services, or other allied professions (Preferred)
Job description
- Develop and implement and monitors training programs (charting system, Scheduling system etc.)
- Supervises and assist individuals of DD group home program and preforms other work as required
- Reports to the program director, directly supervise dsp’s
- Provides instructions for daily living skills such as shopping, budgeting, and housekeeping
- Transport individuals to work, appointments, activities, program cites or other destinations.
- Maintains program records and prepare reports as required and requested
- Administer medication according to established procedures
- May preform house cleaning and or minor repairs
- Schedule and lead monthly staff meeting
- Provides on call support to on duty staff
- Ensures monthly fire, evacuation, and emergency preparedness drills for residents and staff are done, and completes required documentation, in accordance with licensing regulations. Reviews data from drills to best inform emergency training and procedures for each home and individual.
Key responsibilities
- Service Plan Management
- Develop and implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) in collaboration with the support team. Ensures the timely development of the annual Person Centered Individual Service Plan (ISP) for each individual supported, in collaboration with case management, family members and other team members and monitor active treatment and documentation.
- Attend ISP, SIS meetings and other meetings as deemed necessary by management
- Audit Direct Care Staff Documentation – notes, MAR, etc.
- Educate and train managers and support staff on ISPs and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
Direct and indirect care
- Provide direct/indirect care, following established procedures and standards
- Address Clinical issues in crisis situations promptly utilizing appropriate resources
On call responsibilities
Accept on call responsibilities, engaging with staff on weekends, nights,and holidays as needed
Regulatory compliance
Ensure staff meet in service training and certification requirements, including DSP, CPR ,Medication aide if administering medication
Community integration and advocacy
Advocate for individuals served, promoting community involvement and ensuring they live according to their rights and responsibilities
Financial management
Work with the finance departments to meet budgetary goals and follow agency financial policies
Staffing and training
Collaborate with human resources to meet staffing needs, and enforced personnel policies Provide orientation, training and direct supervision to staff conducting performance reviews, and coaching as needed
Policy compliance
Ensure confidentiality and adherence to Healing Bridge Llc policies and procedures Monitor Medicaid and other billing hours, insuring, timely submissions, and accurate documentation
