Summary 

We are looking for a test engineer to join our team and help us ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and reporting on test plans for hardware and software integration, using statistical process control, JMP, quality control, and measurement system analysis techniques. You will also be involved in writing and updating technical documentation and standard operating procedures. 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures for hardware and software integration, using statistical process control, JMP, quality control, and measurement system analysis methods. 

  • Perform testing activities, such as functional, performance, reliability, and regression testing, and document the results and findings. 

  • Analyze test data and generate reports, charts, and graphs, using JMP and other tools. 

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and defects, and communicate them to the relevant stakeholders. 

  • Write and update technical documentation and standard operating procedures, using clear and concise language and following the best practices of technical writing. 

  • Collaborate with other engineers, developers, and quality assurance personnel, and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 

  • At least 3 years of experience as a test engineer, or in a similar role, in a hardware and software integration environment. 

  • Proficient in statistical process control (SPC), JMP, quality control, and measurement system analysis techniques and tools. 

  • Knowledge of hardware and software testing methodologies, standards, and best practices. 

  • Experience in writing and updating technical documentation and standard operating procedures. 

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Attention to detail and quality orientation. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Must be a US person, as defined by the US government. 

  • Must be willing to work flexible work shifts to cover off-production hours as needed.
