In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.In this role, the engineer works with teams and program management to ensure user or system function properly. We are looking for a Senior Systems Test Engineer for our Richardson, Texas location.

What You Will Do

  • Define and conduct system integration tests, including data generation, configuration settings, and test execution
  • Collaborate across disciplines and all levels in order to ensure the system operates as designed, and communicate, address and resolve issues.
  • Perform system maintenance as needed
  • Obtain and maintain access as required by program

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
  • Experience System Integration and Test, including:
    • Defining and conducting integration scope
    • Generating test data, configuration settings, and test execution
    • Communicating status, results, and recovery plans (as applicable) to key internal and/or external stakeholders
    • Direct interactions with external customers
  • Engineering experience with Multi-INT Collection Orchestration missions
  • Experience in system integration and test for a software system for the US DoD
  • Experience with Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for US DoD
  • Experience with system issue detection, resolution, and related process documentation
  • (Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with Poly security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Systems Engineering experience with requirements decomposition to software subsystems, software use case development and software feature development.
  • Expertise with troubleshooting complex software systems and develop issue closure plans with coordinated solutions across internal teams and external stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
