We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in primary care or urgent care settings and be proficient in drawing blood. Fluency in Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical duties including taking patient histories, measuring vital signs, and preparing patients for examination.
  • Draw blood and perform basic laboratory tests.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
  • Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Provide patient education and support as needed.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers in both English and Spanish.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care or urgent care setting.
  • Proficiency in drawing blood and performing basic laboratory tests.
  • Fluency in Spanishis required.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or similar) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
