Job Summary:

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Traveling Medical Physicist to join our team. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiological physics support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain equipment for quality assurance and control
  • Apply clinical knowledge of radiation oncology to ensure accurate treatment delivery
  • Document and maintain accurate records of physics functions and operations
  • Collaborate with the Chief Medical Physicist to ensure compliance with state and regulatory standards
  • Assist with brachytherapy services, including high dose rate and prostate seed implantation

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in medical physics or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Radiation Oncology
  • ABR certification or eligibility
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts
  • Flexibility to work on major holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
