The Role

Located in the vibrant heart of San Francisco, CA, our Workplace Coordinator will be the first impression of our company, embodying our culture and values from the moment visitors and employees step into our office. This role is crucial for maintaining an environment that is not only welcoming and professional but also efficient and well-organized. Your mission will be to manage, improve, and support our office processes, procedures, and culture through a unique blend of administrative duties, operations, and special projects.

 

Pay Rate

We are offering a competitive pay range of $28 - $32 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

 

Work Environment and Conditions

This is a full-time position based in a professional office environment in San Francisco, CA, using standard office equipment. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities

- Front of the House Management: Oversee the greeting of visitors and employees, ensuring a warm and professional atmosphere. Manage the front desk reception duties with punctuality and efficiency.

- Office Supplies Management: Take charge of ordering, stocking, and inventory through vendors like Amazon, Costco, and Staples. Ensure the kitchen and office supplies are fully stocked.

- Event and Meeting Coordination: Set up and break down office meetings and special events. Keep the office tidy and coordinate with cleaning staff to maintain cleanliness.

- Administrative Support: Assist in day-to-day office operations. This includes managing mail, scheduling conference rooms, solving office equipment issues, and supporting building and security requests.

- Employee and Visitor Engagement: Create a seamless interview and onboarding experience for new hires. Collaborate with teams across the organization to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.

- Community Engagement: Act as a representative in San Francisco's local community activities. Spearhead diversity and inclusion initiatives.

 

What We're Looking For

- High school diploma or GED (degree preferred)

- At least 2 years of experience in a professional office or facilities management role (startup environment experience a plus)

- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

- A passion for nurturing team culture

- Stellar communication skills and detail-oriented mindset

- Proficiency in Google Suite and other office software

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize changing tasks

- A team player who's always willing to go the extra mile
