Position: Restoration Technician

Responsibilities:

As a Restoration Technician at MGM Recovery, you will:

  • Perform water extraction and mold remediation.
  • Carefully move and re-set contents with attention to detail.
  • Conduct moisture mapping with temperature, humidity, and moisture content readings.
  • Deploy air movers and drying equipment.
  • Conduct selective demolition to facilitate the drying process.
  • Bag up debris removal.

Additionally, you will:

  • Participate in quarterly safety meetings and fit tests.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Act as a "team lead" occasionally, as determined by your manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all MGM Recovery policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification (preferred, not required).
  • IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) certification (preferred, not required).
  • Familiarity with chemical products, construction/restoration, and safety data sheets.
  • Ability to work within a team or individually as needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when requested.
  • Clean driving record (mandatory).
