Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
    • Understand clients' business requirements and recommend appropriate heavy equipment solutions.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:

    • Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth within assigned accounts.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market potential in the construction sector.
    • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy:

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales objectives.
    • Monitor industry developments and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Customer Support and Service:

    • Coordinate with the service and support teams to ensure timely delivery and post-sales support.
    • Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to equipment and service.
    • Provide training and support to clients on equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account status.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:

    • Proven experience in sales and account management within the heavy equipment or construction industry.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and achieve sales targets.
  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of construction heavy equipment and machinery.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
