Doggie Do-Rite Daycare, or as our friends call us, "DDR", is seeking outgoing, enthusiastic dog lovers for our part time and full time Dog Handler positions

(WITH PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADVANCEMENT)

SIGN ON BONUS after 90 days of employment. Other benefits include FREE DAYCARE for your doggie after 90 days, discounted boarding & discounted dog food.

We are looking for the "pawfect" fit to add to our team as some of our team members head off to college. The right candidate will be more than happy to learn from the ground up with an open mind; this means cleaning, spending lots of time with the dogs and team, and learning the Do-Rite way of doing things If this candidate is showing reliability, professionalism and a dog-loving positive attitude, they may earn lead responsibilties including but not limited to holding office/scheduling/management duties and promotions. This position will ALWAYS require dog handling, cleaning and working with a team. Part time position with opportunity to increase to full time (if desired) based on performance. MUST LOVE DOGS

Duties include...

  • Supervising large groups of off-leash dogs
  • Cleaning up after dogs
  • General facility cleaning
  • Feeding/medicating dogs
  • Bathing dogs AND COULD ADDITIONALLY, EVENTUALLY INCLUDE...
  • Checking clients and their dogs in/out
  • Taking payments
  • Scheduling Boarding/Daycare services
  • Answering phone calls and emails
  • Evaluating incoming dogs & ensuring good fit for playgroup

REQUIREMENTS: Must have week day availability between hours of 6:30 am and 6:30 pm. Must be able to work most weekends (not all). Must be able to work holidays. Must able to spend 4+ hours on feet. Must have strong communication skills
