Responsibility
Perform cleaning and other assigned tasks in a manner which is compliant with Coda Clean expectations regarding Safety, Quality and Productivity. Work with other assigned crew members to ensure they do the same.
Duties
Ensure all crew members are in strict compliance with site safety and security policies.
Ensure all crew members are in strict compliance with quality expectations of Coda Clean and the customer.
Ensure all crew members are in strict compliance with task performance procedures to prevent damage of building components.
Ensure all crew members have a good understanding of the contracted scope of work.
Understand the capabilities of the assigned crew members and provide training/oversight on a continual basis.
Timely and consistent communication with the customer concerning daily work coordination tasks in order to satisfy daily customer needs…within reason as explained in #7 below.
Understand of the scope of work for which Coda Clean is contracted and communicate any customer requests that exceed it to the Coda Clean Contract Manager prior to proceeding with such requests, if completion of such customer requests would have a significant negative impact on the contracted scheduled maintenance tasks.
Timely completion of all Coda Clean required job and crew member reports.
Maintain a daily log to record all incidents, accomplishments and other notables for future reference.
Understand the proper use and care of all Coda Clean equipment, supplies and chemicals.
Safeguard all Coda Clean equipment, supplies and chemicals from theft and abuse.
Proactively communicate all equipment, supply and chemical needs to Coda Clean management in order to facilitate smooth uninterrupted production.
Attend any customer-required meetings and timely complete any customer required reports.
Conduct and document weekly safety and task planning meetings with assigned crew.
Be a role model for the company to customer and all crew members via:
Strict adherence to Coda Clean policies
Respectful, fair and equal treatment of all crew members
Excellent attendance record
Excellent on-time and daily preparation reputation
Supportive and upbeat attitude
Honest and straightforward communication
Best Practices and Other Guidance
Pay special attention to new hires and other crew members newly assigned to tasks for which they are not experienced. DO NOT leave them unattended and check on them often. Put another experienced crew member with them so they are not working alone.
Give new hires a chance…finding good reliable personnel is difficult.
Be mindful of crew members being “excluded” from breaks, lunches or other gatherings and discussions. No one likes the “left out” feeling.
Give credit where credit is due. Acknowledge good work ethic, attendance, quality and attitude.
Be open to learning new skills and techniques that improve safety, quality or productivity.
Strive to improve productivity of your crew every day, realizing that not doing so will leave Coda Clean behind in the future.
