Job Overview

National Vision, Inc. is a leading optical retailer seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance of equipment in our optical manufacturing lab.

This role requires a strong leader who can provide guidance to the maintenance crew, ensure work orders are handled efficiently, and minimize downtime affecting production efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of complex equipment, as well as experience working with PLC's and programming.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership to the maintenance crew
  • Ensuring work orders are handled to resolve machine issues
  • Training associates as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Maintaining Preventative Maintenance equipment logs and checklists
  • Service CNC Edgers, CNC Generators, Blockers
  • Following company's Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
  • Performing other tasks and lead functions as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree/Technical School Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years experience in maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of complex equipment
  • Proven troubleshooting skills on complex equipment
  • Experience working with PLC's, programming
  • Experience in a team Lead role
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical/electronic diagrams
  • Optical manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be able to read and write English
