Holiday Inn Express in Bloomsburg, PA, is seeking an upbeat part-time Front Desk Agent to join its dynamic team Our ideal candidate has strong communication skills and enjoys working with people.
- Part-Time
Job Summary:
- Process guest reservations and changes, including collecting payment
- Provide information about hotel policies, services, and amenities
- Maintain all safety and privacy protocols
- Respond to guest needs, special requests, and complaints; alert the appropriate manager to potential issues as needed
- Assist other team members in various assignments
- Maintain cleanliness of front desk and lobby as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some weekend and holidays required
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and be able to work with little or no supervision
- Proficient with standard Windows-based computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be able to operate basic office machines, i.e., copier, fax, printer, phones, etc.
- Organization and time management skills are required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
