Job Summary
LIVIC Civil is seeking a skilled Construction Inspection Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting plans, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance with legal requirements and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
• Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance with legal requirements and safety regulations
• Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance with plans, contract documents, specifications, and standards
• Oversee, schedule, and maintain subordinate inspection staff throughout all project phases
• Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades, and/or pavement to ensure compliance with plans and codes
• Make field notes and computations
• Work on behalf of the Client to draft project correspondence, facilitate project meetings, and resolve construction-related field issues
• Witness routine sampling and tests on concrete, soils, and other materials
• Gather and maintain project records (using PennDOT ECMS and other systems)
• Interact with the general public, government agencies, contractors, sub-contractors, and other internal and external parties to respond to inquiries

Requirements
• Ability to act in an Owner's Agent/Responsible in Charge Role
• Strong Computer proficiency
• Candidates must have a minimum of four years of PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike, or related transportation construction experience
• GED or high school diploma required
• Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
• Possess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job site
• Able to stand for approximately 3 hours minimum a day up to 8 hours
• Ability to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material, with a variation of elevation 19 inches or less (mud, gravel, rutted ground, etc.)
• Availability to work various shifts, including night shift. Overtime is often required
• Ability to sometimes work in adverse weather conditions
• Must be physically able to perform moderately strenuous tasks, including walking along rough terrain, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds

• KAHUA
