Machine Operator/Set-Up
*Hiring for 3rd SHIFT (M-F)*
$20-$23/hr depending on experience
Summary
Responsible for setting up and adjusting various sizes of dies into stamping presses to insure parts are produced within specification. Perform any necessary die adjustments at set ups and to check accuracy during production. Configure, adjust and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and mechanical equipment. Ensure the quality production of their assigned jobs at expected production level.
Requirements:
- Basic mechanical skills with a desire to learn
- Prior experience in setting compound foil dies or similar experience is preferred.
- Prior experience troubleshooting compound dies and punch press breakdown is preferred
- Ability to use various power shop and mechanical tools
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Applicants must also have the ability to learn quickly and be willing to retrain and work overtime as necessary.
