Job DescriptionJob Description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Ridgewood, New Jersey.  This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization  
 
Responsibilities:  

  • Complete patient check-in procedures, including obtaining vital signs and collecting family history.
  • Administer prescribed medications and vaccines with precision and adherence to protocols.
  • Conduct quality control for all Point-of-Care Tests (POCTs) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) efficiently, ensuring proper patient preparation and data accuracy.
  • Manage medical clearance processes, ensuring all required documentation and evaluations are thoroughly completed

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School graduate, GED or equivalent
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • EKG certified

Additional Information:  

  • Location:  Ridgewood, New Jersey
  • Job Type: contract to hire.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
  • Pay Range: $ 17.00 to 23.00/hour.  

 

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
