Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking to add Construction Estimators (CE's) to our team This role is hybrid remote opportunity paid hourly on a contract-basis. Construction Estimator's are NON-SALARIED independent contractors responsible for residential, commercial, and municipal estimation, project onboarding, project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Strong candidate's for this position possess a Florida Certified General Contractor's license, OSHA-30 certification, and knowledge of how state and federal government procurement systems work.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify, prepare, and obtain project awards at the residential, commercial, and/or municipal level
  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Must have experience running mid to large commercial and/or municipal construction jobs
  • Must have experience with commercial and municipal construction project estimation and onboarding
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • Florida Certified General Contractor License is preferred
