The Industrial Electric General Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of electrical personnel in industrial settings. Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Management:
Lead and manage a team of electricians, apprentices, and other electrical workers.
Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure adherence to project schedules.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
Project Coordination:
Plan and oversee electrical projects from start to finish.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
Review blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
Quality Control and Safety:
Ensure all electrical work meets industry standards and complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
Technical Expertise:
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues and malfunctions.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Resource Management:
Manage and allocate resources, including materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
Track project expenses and ensure budgetary compliance.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain accurate records, including work logs, timesheets, and project reports.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship program preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an industrial electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Certifications: Valid electrician’s license and relevant industry certifications.
Skills:
Strong leadership and management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
