Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
  • Supervise and manage the execution of construction or production activities across various sites or projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
  • Review project plans, schedules, and progress, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of foremen and supervisors, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance.
  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities to foremen and ensure proper workforce utilization.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Resource Management:
  • Oversee the allocation and utilization of materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials.
  • Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or compliance issues.
  • Ensure adherence to legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site or within the team.
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to operational or logistical problems.
  • Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between upper management and on-site teams.
  • Facilitate effective communication between different departments and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, updates, and recommendations to management.
Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in construction or manufacturing.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction or production processes, safety standards, and project management.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) or other industry-specific certifications may be required.
Working Conditions:
  • May require working in various environments, including outdoor sites or manufacturing facilities.
  • Ability to work long hours or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and moving materials.
